I am a clinical psychologist in Bucks County, PA, and I have been providing individual therapy to adults in Pennsylvania since 2001. These days I mostly meet with clients in the convenience of their homes through telehealth (video) sessions.
My style is positive, solution-focused and interactive and I hope you will find that together we can take on challenging topics against the background of an honest and connected relationship.
Together, we will work to define your goals and develop deeper understanding of your situation and what strategies work best for you. I draw from many theoretical models with a strong leaning towards cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT). If you like "homework" between sessions you are likely going to be happy with this.
Successful therapy requires that you experience a "good fit" with your therapist in which you feel comfortable, empowered and challenged. Our initial phone call will give you an opportunity to see whether my style feels right for you.

I provide individual therapy through an encrypted telehealth (video) platform. You must be in Pennsylvania at the time of your session. We begin with an intake meeting (70-90 minutes) and discuss ongoing therapy. Weekly (50 minute) appointments are typical but in some cases your needs, schedule or finances may dictate another option. I work with you to find a solution that fits.

I am a participating provider for the following insurance companies:
*Highmark BCBS
*Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans
*Aetna
*Medicare

I am accepting private pay clients.
My rates are available upon request.
As a courtesy I am happy to bill your insurance on your behalf if you are collecting out-of-network benefits.
On a personal note,
I like my job. It is a pleasure to work with people coming in with a wide-range of issues and backgrounds and to be given permission to be part of their struggles and successes.
My own path to psychology began when I volunteered for a year in Israel during the 1990 Gulf War. My personal experiences racing to bomb shelters during Scud attacks and caring for children during the course of the war led to a deep interest in the impact of stress, anxiety and trauma on all of us.
In graduate school I researched and published papers on the harm caused by domestic violence. I worked clinically with men and women caught up in violent relationships, adults struggling to overcome depression, panic attacks, ADHD, medical challenges and relationship patterns that impeded their ability to feel connected to themselves and others.
After graduating with my doctorate I worked at the Washington DC, V.A. Medical Center, where I was the sole psychologist in the PTSD program treatment team. I had the honor of working with veterans facing tremendous trauma from combat, homecoming experiences and sexual abuse as well as individuals experiencing chronic pain, substance abuse, depression and anxiety.
In 2001 I moved to Pennsylvania and began a private practice. Currently I provide adult individual therapy via a HIPAA compliant encrypted telehealth program.
My hobbies: I love gardening and cooking while listening to audiobooks I download from our local library. I also love learning about new cultures through good food, traveling and walking great distances in cities and towns. I have a very cute Australian Shepherd named Fitz.
